I have often loved the idea of blogging. But I have never really thought much about how to do it or what I would even do it about. I have found, though, that I love to write and discuss theology, church life, and what it’s like to be a part of a pastoral family in the 21st Century. My goal for this Substack is to give you insight into how I think about these topics and to give you an insider’s perspective into my mind. Sometimes, it’s a scary place. Others…it’s amusing!

It is my hope that through my writings you may be encouraged, uplifted, challenged, and even, sometimes, entertained. I am reminded of Romans 12: 1-2 where we read the Apostle Paul write these words:

“Therefore,, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing, and perfect will.”

I hope that you may be transformed by the renewing of your mind, by the power of the Holy spirit, and join me on this awesome journey of growth!

This Substack is an opportunity for me to put down on "paper" my thoughts regarding a host of topics including Theology, Church Life, Pastoral and Pastoral Family life, and the occasional rant about my favorite sports.
